Michael Kenna’s Forms of Japan, will be a comprehensive retrospective of his photographs of Japan. To be published by Prestel in September 2015, the book will include previously unpublished images plus many of the photographs previously published in his Nazraeli Press titles.
Having got a number of Kenna’s book in the past decade or so I can honestly say that he is always well served when it comes to quality reproductions and book design, in no small part from his own input into the process. Nazraeli Press offer the hightest quality reproductions but have been out of print I believe for a while. So if you have not got Hokkaido or Japan then this Prestel publication is one not to be missed.
